Common use

Morr F 5% is a topical medication used to treat male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). It combines minoxidil, which stimulates hair growth, and finasteride, which reduces hair loss by inhibiting the hormone responsible for hair thinning.

Dosage and direction

To use Morr F 5%, follow these steps: Ensure your scalp is clean and dry before application; Part your hair to expose the area where you are experiencing thinning or loss; Using the provided dropper, apply the solution directly to your scalp; Gently spread and massage the solution into your scalp with your fingertips; Wash your hands thoroughly after application; Allow at least 2 to 4 hours for the solution to dry before wetting or styling your hair.

Precautions

Heart Conditions: Caution is advised for people with underlying heart problems as topical minoxidil in Morr F might cause changes in blood pressure.
Liver and Kidney Disease: People with liver or kidney problems should be cautious while using this medication as it could potentially affect the metabolism and elimination of finasteride and minoxidil from the body.

Contraindications

Do not apply Morr F if your skin is hypersensitive to finasteride or minoxidil.

Possible side effect

Using Morr F 5% could possibly lead to the following side effects: Itching, flaking, or irritation on the scalp; Headache.

Drug interaction

Peripheral Vasodilators: Topical application of minoxidil, one of the active ingredients in Morr F, may increase the risk of low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension in patients taking peripheral vasodilators like guanethidine.
CYP3A4 Enzyme Metabolised Medicines: Finasteride, another active ingredient in Morr F, may interact with medications metabolised by CYP3A4 enzymes in the liver, such as erythromycin, cimetidine and ketoconazole.

Missed dose

If you forgot to apply Morr F as instructed, simply apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next application, skip the missed one now and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult your doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Overdose

If you accidentally apply more Morr F than recommended, there may be mild side effects like itching or redness at the application site. However, it's best to inform your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen.

Storage

Store Morr F in a cool and dry place, ideally at room temperature. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. Ensure the bottle is tightly shut after each use. Always keep it out of reach of children.
